May 12, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, we used artificial intelligence in two construction projects.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by the co-founder of Turkish company Yes Architects, Esheren Ersan, who took part in forum Invision Design Talks 2. She noted that the company she heads has offices in Baku, Istanbul and Tashkent, and the largest portfolio of projects is located in Azerbaijan.

Ms. Ersan noted that the company is currently implementing a number of major projects in Azerbaijan, including residential complexes, hotels and shopping malls.

She added that the company already makes extensive use of AI tools in the design process.

The architect noted that currently two projects in Azerbaijan use AI technologies.

Ms. Ersan pointed out that in one of them nearly 20% of the design work was carried out with the support of AI, and in the other - 50%.

She stressed that the use of AI currently reduces costs by around 10%, and in the next 5 years this figure may reach 80-90%.

The architect added that although AI accelerates the decision-making process, the main decisions are still made by humans.
