September 19, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on some measures to improve the sphere of regular passenger transportation by road.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the document, target budget fund "Public Transport" is being created as part of the State Budget.

The Fund is formed by the following receipts:

- the portion of the road tax transferred to the fund for each liter of automobile gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas;

- payment for the entry of vehicles into the toll zones established in the administrative territory of Baku city;

The Ministry of Digital Development & Transport is the administrator of the Fund's finances within the limits of approved expenditures in the State Budget.
