June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Visa and Mastercard payment systems will stop working in Cuba from June 6 because of tightening of US sanctions.
ABC.AZ reports that this will deprive the country of part of the income from international operations and accelerate the withdrawal of foreign companies from the market.
Alternative payment methods, including cash, local cards, as well as the Mir and UnionPay systems, will remain in the country.
