Number of foreign specialists working at SOCAR has increased in recent years

June 2, Fineko/abc.az. The essence of one of the recently signed SOCAR agreements has been clarified.

ABC.AZ informs that SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf revealed the details of the agreement during panel discussions organized on the second day of Baku Energy Week.

He noted that creation of a data center and an artificial intelligence center is planned in Azerbaijan: "Company's activity is no longer limited to Azerbaijan and is expanding its global presence through investments in various countries. Transformation process also manifests itself in the structure of company's human capital. Thus, in recent years, the number of foreign specialists working at SOCAR has increased, and specialists with international experience have become more widely represented in subsidiaries and senior positions in various countries. Previously, SOCAR was based mainly on local human capital, but today the company has turned into a global energy company with international human resources potential."
