April 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to customs declarations for Jan–Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 5.77 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks for $2.5 billion, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee.

The volume of crude oil exports decreased by 15.5% and its value by 25.1% versus Jan-Mar 2025.

Over the past 3 months of 2026, the share of crude oil and petroleum products obtained from bituminous rocks in Azerbaijan's overall exports made up 46.29%.
