April 8, Fineko/abc.az. The Energy Information Administration under the U.S. Department of Energy has maintained its previous forecast for oil production in Azerbaijan for 2026, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the April issue of the EIA’s STEO Report.

According to Department’s updated data, this year, oil production in the country will average 540,000 b/d - this figure has not changed compared to the previous estimate.

Daily production is expected to reach 550,000 b/d in the 1st quarter, and this figure also coincides with the March forecast.

In the 2nd quarter, the figure will be 540,000 b/d, unchanged from the previous month.

In the 3rd and 4th quarters, production, according to EIA estimates, will drop to 530,000 b/d. These values also remained at the level of the March forecast.
