Transport Ministry creates digital platform for seafarers

January 6, Fineko/abc.az. The State Maritime & Port Agency (DDLA) under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport has launched a single digital platform called "My Cabinet" for more transparent, prompt verification and tracking of seafarers' documents in accordance with modern requirements.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Ministry, with the help of the new digital platform, seafarers will be able to easily track their documents from a single center.

The system provides an opportunity to check the status of certificates (diplomas) of seafarers, certificates of special training, receive e-versions of those documents, as well as access to trainings organized for seafarers, send online applications and receive responses, including various information and educational information.

In addition, it is planned to provide the results of all exams conducted at DDLA through the My Cabinet platform in the near future. This innovation will allow for prompt and transparent verification of the validity of documents, and will also play an important role in minimizing cases of forgery.

The initiative is aimed at expanding the digital transformation in the field of navigation, improving the quality of services and increasing user satisfaction.
