November 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is planning numerous measures in the coming years to support the private sector and optimize the tax burden.
ABC.AZ reports that Finance Minister Sahil Babayev made the above-said statement during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2026 at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.
He added that when preparing the budget package for next year, one of the main goals was taken into account – reducing dependence on oil and gas revenues and preserving the country's foreign exchange reserves.
"In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, the appropriate framework has also been provided for optimizing budget expenditures, switching to a method of efficient spending of funds and at the same time preventing unnecessary expenses," the minister emphasized.
