Minister: It is important to develop a more active plan for expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan

October 24, Fineko/abc.az. First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Finance Minister Sinisha Mali has met with Azerbaijani Finance Minister Sahil Babayev.

ABC.AZ reports that during the meeting, the Serbian minister touched upon a number of important issues.

According to the minister, promising areas of cooperation include energy, construction, military-economic cooperation, information and communication technologies, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering and agriculture, as well as the exchange of experience in the digitalization of public administration.

Mali also noted the importance of the Serbian-Azerbaijani business forum, which took place within the9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade & Economic Cooperation, attended by 50 Serbian and 20 Azerbaijani companies.

"Such events create excellent opportunities to present the investment potential of both countries. Now it is important to develop a more active and practical plan to expand cooperation," the minister added.
