Number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan rises by 3%

September 5, Fineko/abc.az – As of September 1, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 3% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 831,000, ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Tax Service.

The data also shows that over the first eight months of 2025, the number of active VAT payers grew by 6.4% to 56,200, while the number of active business entities increased by 4.9% to 228,200.
