Status of wildlife sanctuaries and nature reserves to change

January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is planning to change the status of some nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries in the territories liberated from the occupation.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Ecology & Natural Resources Vugar Kerimov stated about this at a press conference.

According to Kerimov, discussions are currently underway to change the status of nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries:

"There are proposals to create new national parks on the basis of several nature reserves and wildlife sanctuaries. This issue will be discussed with the involvement of international experts."
