October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani touched upon the matter of the fighting between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

ABC.AZ reports that in an interview with the Turkish media the Iranian president expressed concern that the confrontation between Baku and Yerevan could lead to a large-scale regional confrontation.

Rouhani noted that no issue can be resolved by war: "We once again emphasize the importance of ensuring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and the rights of the Azerbaijani people should be respected. At the same time, no conflict can be resolved by war and bloodshed. We must find an alternative."
