June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Energy Regulatory Agency under the Ministry of Energy completed 2025 with net profit of 20,700 manats (96.3% less than in 2024). Last year, the profit of the institution amounted to 555,700 manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the audit report, that the sharp decline in profits occurred against the background of an increase in personnel costs by 20.3% up to 14.12 million manats, despite the fact that revenues grew by 11.7% up to 15.74 million manats. At the end of 2025, the accumulated losses amounted to 1.49 million manats (1.5% less than a year ago).

Agency's overall revenues in 2025 amounted to 15.74 million manats (11.7% more than a year earlier). The total expenses were formed at the level of 15.72 million manats and increased by 16.5% compared with 2024. Operating income also amounted to 15.74 million manats.

By the end of 2025, Agency's total assets reached 29.79 million manats (77.6% more than a year earlier). The main part of the assets consisted of cash and cash equivalents in the amount of 23.48 million manats.

At the end of 2025, total liabilities amounted to 23.36 million manats (125.5% more than a year earlier). The increase is mainly linked with an increase in long-term liabilities up to 19.44 million manats. The total capital amounted to 6.44 million manats and decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous year.

The authorized capital remained unchanged at 7.91 million manats.
