June 4, Fineko/abc.az. The total production at Shah Deniz field currently reaches 27 bcm of gas a year and more than 80,000 barrels of condensate per day.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to BP-Azerbaijan (technical operator of the project).

"Currently, gas extraction from the field is carried out within the Shah Deniz 1 and Shah Deniz 2 projects. The total production at the field, taking into account the first stage of development, currently amounts to 27 bcm of gas a year and more than 80,000 barrels of condensate per day," it is informed.

At the same time, according to the company, Shah Deniz 2 currently produces 17 bcm of gas a year.

"The production capacity of the existing Shah Deniz facilities exceeds 76 million cu m per day, or more than 28 bcm per year," the report says.
