Cost of oil goes up: Brent - $111.17 a barrel

May 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading.

As of 09:35, at the ICE Futures Europe stock exchange, July’s Brent crude futures rose by $1.91 (1.75%) to $111.17 per barrel. Following the trading on May 15, this contract increased in price by $3.54 (3.35%) up to $109.26 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), by 09:35, the price of June’s WTI crude oil futures rose by $2.26 (2.14%) up to $107.68 per barrel. Following the trading on May 15, the contract grew in price by $4.25 (4.20%) up to $105.42 per barrel.

Last week, crude oil Brent rose by 7.87% and WTI by 10.48%.
