May 13, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of Kazakh oil transshipped through the port of Aktau in the direction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline from January to April 2026 amounted to 471,000 tons.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to KazTransOil, that 125,000 tons of Kazakh oil were shipped through the port of Aktau in April alone, along the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.

Earlier, Kazakh Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov stated that Kazakhstan plans to export between 1.5 million and 2.2 million tons of oil to global markets via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline in 2026.

Kazakhstan exported 1.2 million tons of oil via the BTC pipeline in 2025.
