May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Romania has been given the opportunity to export products from high-risk enterprises to Azerbaijan without undergoing additional assessment, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan.

The Agency has decided to recognize the equivalence of the Romanian food facilities approval system. According to this decision, if the competent authorities of Romania provide official information about enterprises, or the enterprises themselves submit the relevant supporting documents, their re-verification in Azerbaijan is not required.

"This will help increase the trade turnover of food products between our countries," the Agency stressed.
