April 24, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has made changes to the composition of the Azerbaijani part of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade & Economic Cooperation with Kazakhstan.
ABC.AZ informs that the head of state signed a relevant decree.
According to the document, the Commission has made a range of personnel and structural changes. In particular, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed the chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on behalf of the Azerbaijani side. Previously, the Commission was headed by the country's Minister of Energy.
In addition, the Deputy Minister of Energy and the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources are included in the composition.
The staff has also been expanded to include the head of the International Cooperation Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked to notify the Kazakh side of the changes made.
