Japan and Saudi Arabia to create an oil route bypassing the Strait of Hormuz

April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Japan and Saudi Arabia have agreed on the creation of an alternative oil supply route bypassing the Strait of Hormuz - through the Red Sea.

ABC.AZ informs that supplies are to be diversified by the UAE (port of Fujairah), Saudi Arabia (port of Yanbu al-Bahr), as well as increased exports from the U.S. and additional volumes from Azerbaijan.

The deficit will be partially covered by the sale of strategic reserves.: current volumes last for about 45 days, with a total reserve of up to 254 days of consumption.
