April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 40,496 tons of persimmons for $32.79 million for Jan-Mar 2026, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Persimmon exports fell by 5,287 tons (11.5%) in volume and by $840,000 (2.5%) in value compared wiht Jan-Mar 2025.

Over Jan-Mar 2026, persimmon export revenues made up 0.5% of country's overall export revenues.

In general, for Jan-Mar Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations for $9.407 billion (21.9% less in annual terms), including exports for $5.402 billion (a drop by 15.4%) and imports for $4.5 billion (a drop by 29.3%).

As a result, positive balance of $1.398 billion was formed in foreign trade (93.4% more than last year).
