April 16, Fineko/abc.az. To date, over 1,400 km of highways have been built in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
ABC.AZ reports that Deputy PM Shahin Mustafayev stated this at a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission in Zangilan.
Mustafayev noted that as part of the ongoing projects in the liberated territories, more than 120 km of railway line have been laid, the construction of 7 tunnels fully completed, drilling operations completed on 31 more tunnels, and 392 bridges built.
"At the same time, three international airports have already been put into operation, settlements and villages are being actively restored, schools and hospitals are being built, modern energy, water supply, communications and other necessary infrastructure are being created, which forms the basis for sustainable socio-economic development of the region," Mustafayev said.
