November 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan plans to commission 500 electric buses in 2025 and increase their number up to 1,100 by 2026.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the document updated "Nationally Determined Contributions" (NDC 3.0) of Azerbaijan.

In the future, 500 more electric buses are to be launched annually. The introduction will be carried out by state-owned operator BakuBus and private carriers within the route network.

In 2024, 600 electric buses were put into operation in the country.
