October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Hyundai Motor, BMW Korea, Kia Corp. and Stellantis Korea are voluntarily recalling a total of 260,184 vehicles.

ABC.AZ reports that Yonhap news agency, citing information from the Ministry of Land Resources, Infrastructure & Transport of the Republic of Korea. Cars of 57 models are being recalled to eliminate various component defects.

The cars had to be recalled due to threats related to several defects. Among them is a possible fire hazard due to a faulty battery management system in electric model Porter II from Hyundai Motor. There is also a threat of power outage or even a fire due to a faulty starter in a BMW 520d sedan and a faulty engine part in a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV imported by Stellantis Korea.
