October 23, Fineko/abc.az. Regular flights to Lachin International Airport may begin in 2026.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the draft budget package for 2026.

According to the document, next year Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will receive 5.9 million manats from the State Budget to compensate for losses related to flights to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, providing travel benefits for disabled people and participants of the Patriotic War, as well as persons equated to them to the CIS countries, as well as to subsidize losses on flights to be operated to Fuzuli and Lachin airports.
