September 24, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2025, the volume of manufactured goods and services rendered in the field of industry in Baku amounted to 34 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Baku City Statistics Department, that the figure is 1.4 bn manats, or 3.9% less versus Jan-Aug 2024.

Over Jan-Aug 2025, 74.2% of capital's industrial output was produced in the mining industry, 22.5% - processing, 2.3% - production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, 1% - water supply, waste treatment and recycling.

The share of the non-governmental sector in industry made up 82.1%. The share of industrial products in the total volume of production was 89.2%, and the provision of industrial services was 10.8%.

Most of the manufactured products were shipped to consumers, and taking into account the stocks created in previous periods, there were stocks of finished products worth 461.9 million manats in the warehouses of industrial enterprises as of September 1, 2025.

The warehouses of industrial enterprises also had other products purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the amount of 99.2 million manats.
