September 24, Fineko/abc.az. The new state program of Azerbaijan for 2026-2030 defines the goals of the national statistical system.

ABC.AZ informs that State Statistics Committee’s chair Tahir Budagov made the relevant statement at the III International Statistical Forum in Baku on the topic "Prospects for the development of statistics: the role of international projects".

According to Budagov, program's priorities are to strengthen national statistical capacity through the use of international experience: "It involves contributing to the improvement of the international methodological framework based on national best practices, expanding statistical innovations through the introduction of modern information and communication technologies. To this end, the Committee actively cooperates with many international organizations and relevant structures of foreign countries."
