Top 3 of countries on money transfers from abroad to Azerbaijan - List

September 17, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of money transfers received to Azerbaijan from abroad for the first 6 months of 2025 totaled $533.9 million.

ABC.AZ informs that Samir Nasirov, the director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), made the above-said statement at a briefing on the presentation of the balance of payments.

The main countries from which the transfers came were Russia ($214 million), Turkey ($52.1 million) and the U.S. ($52 million).

“In the same period, the volume of money transfers from Azerbaijan abroad reached $238.2 million. The main destinations of transfers were Turkey ($68 million), the U.S. ($40 million) and Russia ($22.1 million),” Nasirov said.
