September 12, Fineko/abc.az. While nominal per capita incomes in Azerbaijan grew by 6.7% year-on-year in the first eight months of 2025, annual inflation in the country amounted to only 4.9%.
According to ABC.AZ, citing the State Statistics Committee, per capita income in January–August reached 4,935.6 manat.
In a country with a population of 10,245,543, nominal incomes increased by 50.5141 billion manat, up 7.2% year-on-year.
The consumer price index in August 2025 compared to August 2024 was 4.9%, including 6.6% for food, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products, 2.1% for non-food goods, and 4.9% for paid services provided to the population.
Retail turnover grew by 4.3% year-on-year, reaching 40.4233 billion manat, while bank deposits held by the population totaled 15.4561 billion manat.
