Copper prices fall after previous day’s gains

September 3, Fineko/abc.az. Copper prices declined Wednesday morning following a 1.5% increase in the previous trading session, according to market data.

According to ABC.AZ, as of 10:12 a.m. Baku time, December copper futures on the Comex exchange had fallen 0.47% to $4.619 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms). The previous day, the metal’s price had risen by 1.5%.

On the London Metal Exchange (LME), as of Tuesday’s close, the three-month copper price increased by 0.98% to $9,980.5 per ton, aluminum rose 0.31% to $2,619, and zinc gained 1.15% to $2,865 per ton.
