Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has taken part in the opening of the project on supply of drinking water to the city of Shemakha.

Gorkhmaz Huseynov, chairman of water supply operator Azersu, informed the country’s head about work carried out within the project on reconstruction of system of water supply and sewerage of the city of Shemakha, which is designed with the prospect of development until 2035.

The project is designed for 41,000 people.
