June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The European Commission is urgently developing "autonomous trade measures" to reduce tariffs on Armenian food and agricultural exports in response to economic restrictions from Russia.
ABC.AZ informs that according to the Financial Times, the package of measures will cover about 20 categories of goods worth €420 million a year.
However, EU officials note difficulties with logistics through Georgia and Turkey, as well as problems with the admission of Armenian cognac due to competition with France.
The head of EU diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, also confirmed the dispatch of an advisory mission to Yerevan to support the country's economy.
