June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has awarded Google a "strategic market status" and introduced two new mandatory rules for its search engine.
ABC.AZ informs that Google is now obligated to ensure full transparency of its ranking algorithms (including AI search results) and to grant the right to users for transfer their search history to third-party services. Earlier this month, the regulator also allowed the media to ban Google from using their content to train neural networks without losing positions in search results.
