June 5, Fineko/abc.az. In May of 2026, the market share of Chrome browser on all platforms (computers, mobile devices, tablets) in Azerbaijan was 81.04%.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Statcounter’s latest report, that this is 1.53 p.p. more than in April and 1.4 p.p. less against the same term of 2025.

The market share of Safari, which ranks 2nd, declined by 1.99 p.p. or 20% over the month and increased by 0.06 p.p. over the year to 8.25%.

Samsung Internet's market share, which ranks next, increased by 0.5 p.p. over the month and by 0.46 p.p. over the year to 3.4%.

Firefox's market share grew by 2.01 p.p. in May, and by 1.99 p.p. year-on-year to 2.59%.

Opera's market share in Azerbaijan dropped by 0.43 p.p. over the month and by 0.15 p.p. over the year to 1.83%.

Chrome – 86.08% (a drop of 1.34 p.p. per month and a rise of 6.37 p.p. a year);

Firefox – 4.76% (a rise of 3.8 p.p. per month and a rise of 2.52 p.p. a year);

Edge – 3.1% (a drop of 0.88 p.p. per month and a drop of 3.28 p.p. a year);

Opera - 2.18% (a drop of 0.33 p.p. monthly and a drop of 2.47 p.p. a year);

Safari – 0.87% (a drop of 0.51 p.p. per month and a drop of 1.61 p.p. a year);

On mobile devices:

Chrome – 76.87% (a rise of 3.91 p.p. per month and a drop of 6.58 p.p. per year);

Safari – 14.43% (3.18 p.p. less per month and 4.69 p.p. more per year);

Samsung Internet – 4.8% (0.57 p.p. more per month and 1.02 p.p. more per year);

Opera - 1.54% (0.52 p.p. more less per month and 0.28 p.p. more per year);

Yandex Browser – 0.95% (1.02 p.p. more per month and 0.23 p.p. more per year);

On tablets:

Chrome - 78.5% (2.22 p.p. more per month and 20.78 p.p. more per year);

Safari – 8.53% (2.73 p.p. less per month and 2.81 p.p. less per year);

Android - 5.37% (0.1 p.p. more per month and 23.94 p.p. less per year);

Opera - 1.23% (0.13 p.p. less per month and 0.7 p.p. more per year);

Yandex Browser – 0.89% (1.81 p.p. less per month and 0.14 p.p. more per year).
