June 5, Fineko/abc.az. The central banks of Azerbaijan and Hungary have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, ABC.AZ reports Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s Governor Taleh Kazimov post on X.
"On the sidelines of the second meeting of the Council of Central (National) Banks of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States, hosted in Baku, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mihály Varga, Governor of the Central Bank of Hungary, to further enhance cooperation between our institutions that built on mutual trust.
Within the memorandum, regular exchanges of information and expertise will take place in the areas of monetary policy, banking supervision, capital markets, the insurance sector, payment systems, and financial technologies; technical cooperation will be expanded through meetings, seminars, knowledge-sharing initiatives, training programs, and business visits," he wrote on X.
