June 4, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. will soon announce the allocation of $400 million in military aid to Ukraine, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

The funds were previously approved by Congress, but their allocation was delayed by the Pentagon; they are now undergoing interagency procedures.

Senator Mitch McConnell said that the money was actually "stuck" in the defense department. After criticism, Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth announced that the aid package had already been unblocked, but the reasons for the delay had not been explained, which caused discontent in Congress.
