22 May, Fineko/abc.az. The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) creates additional opportunities for the further development of economic and trade relations between our countries.

ABC.AZ reports that these words were spoken by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Sahib Alakbarov, during his speech at the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijan-Tajikistan Business Forum.

He noted that Tajikistan and Azerbaijan continue their cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

"Our countries maintain mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and other international organizations. The Zangezur corridor also creates additional opportunities for integration into the global economy. There are vast opportunities for close cooperation between our countries in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport-logistics, and transit, and developing these sectors would be economically efficient for both parties," the Deputy Minister emphasized.
