Azercosmos exported satellite services for $4.1 million for Jan-Mar

April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azercosmos, the space agency under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, exported satellite telecommunications services for $4.1 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the April issue of the Export Review, published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the document, the indicator is nearly 2.5% more versus Jan-Mar 2025.

For the past 3 months, close to 90 companies from 32 countries imported satellite communications services. Compared with Jan-Mar 2025, the number of countries decreased by 7. The main export destinations were the UK ($1.1 million), Luxembourg ($809,100), Turkey ($271,400), Pakistan ($261,100) and Sweden ($187,200).

The share of Azercosmos' export earnings in its overall revenues decreased from 65% to 64% for Jan-Mar 2026.

In March alone, Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunications services for $1.1 million (15.4% less than a year ago).
