April 29, Fineko/abc.az. The baggage of the First Vice President and Vice Presidents of Azerbaijan will not be subject to customs inspection.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendments to the Customs Code, which were put up for discussion at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship.

According to the draft, personal baggage of the First Vice President and Vice Presidents of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister, his deputies, heads of relevant executive authorities, members of Parliament and the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) are exempt from customs inspection when crossing the customs border in connection with the performance of official duties.

The personal baggage of the head of diplomatic missions of foreign states, members of the diplomatic staff and their family members living with them are also exempt from customs inspection.
