April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 29,439 tons of polyethylene in primary forms for $28.16 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, export of this product grew by 0.5%, while its cost dropped by 16.5%.

The share of polyethylene in non-oil exports was 3.3%, and the share in country’s overall exports - 0.5%.

For the past 3 months, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion, including exports for $5.402 billion and imports for $4.5 billion. Over Jan-Mar 2026, exports declined by 15.4% and imports by 29.3%.
