April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan imported 5,717 tons of butter and other oils made from milk for $36.168 million.

ABC.AZ Informs that according to the State Customs Committee, that figure is 1,968 tons (25.6%) less in volume and $17.552 million (32.6%) less in value against Jan-Mar 2025.

Butter and other oils made from milk made up 0.9% of Azerbaijan's overall imports for Jan-Mar 2026.

Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion (21.9% less versus Jan-Mar 2025, including exports for $5.402 billion (a drop by 15.4%) and imports for $4.5 billion (a drop by 29.3%).

In the end, foreign trade surplus totaled $1.398 billion (93.4% more than a year earlier).
