April 23, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, Azerbaijan exported 204.1 tons of tea for $1.757 million.

ABC.AZ reports that the indicator is 31.4 tons or 18.2% more in volume and $229,960 or 15% more in value against Jan-Mar 2025.

Tea export revenues accounted for a small share of Azerbaijan's overall export revenues.

In addition, for Jan-Mar 2026 Azerbaijan imported 3,158 tons of tea for $20.378 million, which is $5.29 million (19.8%) less in value and 975.6 tons (23.6%) less in volume versus Jan-Mar 2025.
