April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Serious financial and managerial deficiencies have been identified in the Olympic sports complexes.

ABC.AZ informs that the Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan that during an audit conducted at the Olympic sports complexes operating under the Ministry of Youth & Sports, found serious financial irregularities and gaps in management.

The audit covered the period of 2022-2025 and included finances for 15 million manats.

The report notes that no strategic planning was carried out on activities of complexes, the tariff policy was not justified, and significant part of the income remained dependent on subsidies. In many cases, prices were set without taking into account costs.
