April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Corporation SpaceX has signed a deal to acquire Cursor, a neural network developer, for $60 bn, trying to catch up with competitors in the field of artificial intelligence a few months before the initial public offering (IPO), ABC.AZ informs, referring to Financial Times.

According to SpaceX, which previously absorbed AI startup xAI, the companies are working together "to create the world's best AI for programming and working with knowledge".

Elon Musk hopes that Cursor's software engineers' experience in developing AI tools "will help him catch up with competitors whose models have surpassed everything created by his xAI laboratory," the publication says.

The valuation of SpaceX's assets during the upcoming IPO may exceed $1.75 trillion, which will be the largest stock offering in history.
