Last year, volume of government securities in circulation decreased by 4%

April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the decline in the volume of government securities in circulation by the end of 2025, there was an increase on the notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

Compared with the end of last year, the volume of government securities fell by 4% (400 million manats) to 9 billion manats, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA.

It is noted that the main factor contributing to the decline was the lack of organization of a new issue by the Ministry of Finance in the first 8 months of this year.

The volume of CBA notes in circulation grew 1.8-fold (200 million manats) and reached 400 million manats.
