April 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, the purchases of foreign currency in cash by exchange offices exceeded its sale by $51 million.

ABC.AZ informs wiht reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the level of dollarization of deposits of individual residents decreased by 2.8 percentage points and made up 27.7% in February 2026.

Under these conditions, in the 1st quarter of 2026, CBA foreign exchange reserves grew by 1.2% and reached $11.7 bn.
