March 19, Fineko/abc.az. SIIG and Unibio are creating a plant in Al-Jubail with vertical loop bioreactor technology for the production of eco-friendly protein Uniprotein® from natural gas.

ABC.AZ reports that at the first stage, the output will be 50,000 tons a year with the prospect of increasing to 300,000 tons.

The project will reduce the country's dependence on imported animal feed and is designed for the domestic and international markets.

Construction will begin in the 2nd half of 2026, and commercial operation will begin in 2028.
