March 17, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, U.S.’ foreign direct investments in Azerbaijan amounted to $204.368 million ($54.542 million, or 36.4% more versus 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The share of investments from the U.S. in overall foreign direct investments in Azerbaijan for the year under review was 3.1%.

Azerbaijan, in turn, invested $130.239 million in the U.S. economy in 2025 ($41.712 million or 47.1% more than in the previous year).

The share of Azerbaijani investments in Georgia in overall foreign direct investments made up 5.5%.

In 2024, U.S.’ overall foreign direct investments to Azerbaijan reached $149.826 million, and in the opposite direction - $88.527 million.

In 2025, foreign direct investments in the Azerbaijani economy exceeded $6.595 billion ($450.9 million, or 6.4% less than in 2024).

At the same time, Azerbaijan’s foreign direct investments into the external economy for the year under review totaled $2.528 billion ($765.4 million or 43.4% more versus 2024).
