Cost of metals noticeably lowers

February 2, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of metals is noticeably decreasing on Monday morning, according to trading data.

ABC.AZ informs that as of 10.59 a.m. (Baku time), March’s copper futures at the Comex exchange fell by 3.35% to $5.7255 per pound (nearly 0.45 kg).

At the same time, the price of April’s platinum futures declined by 9.49% by the previous closure, to $1,920.2 per troy ounce and March’s palladium futures by 7.89% to $1,568.75.

At the same time, aluminum futures dropped by 3.49% at 10.59 a.m. to $3,117.65 per ton and zinc prices fell by 3.56% to $3,272.7 per ton.

At the London Metal Exchange (LME), following the trading on Friday, the cost of a ton of copper for delivery in three months fell by 3.38% to $13,157.5, aluminum by 2.31% to $3,144, the cost of zinc by 0.29% to $3,402.
