UK economy slows down in 3rd quarter of 2025

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter of 2025, the UK economy grew only by 0.1%, slowing down from 0.3% growth a quarter earlier.

ABC.AZ informs that the manufacturing sector declined by 0.3%, with car production particularly affected (-10.3% after the cyberattack on Jaguar Land Rover). The service sector and the construction sector showed moderate growth (+0.2%), supporting the economy. Consumer spending (+0.3%), government spending (+0.4%) and business investment (+1.5%) mitigated the slowdown. Annual GDP growth was 1.3%.
