December 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is currently considering projects worth $2.5 billion in Kazakhstan.
ABC.AZ reports that Ruslan Dalenov, deputy chairman of the bank's board, stated about this at the final press conference on the results of 2025.
He added that the EDB has invested $9 billion in the economy of Kazakhstan. Dalenov adedd that the bank provided $16 million in the form of technical assistance.
According to Dalenov, EDB's work is carried out in accordance with the 5-year strategy for 2022-26. Over the four years of strategy's implementation, the bank has reinvested $5.1 billion in projects in Kazakhstan.
The EDB is a multilateral development bank established to support the economic growth of the participating states, expand trade and economic ties between them and develop integration processes in the Eurasian space through investment activities. Seven countries are members of the EDB: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
